Out to lunch has a new meaning – it’s the perfect opportunity for you to check out the surroundings of the hippest restaurants and steal some design tips! Here are some of my favs…
Industrial windows are the latest craze. Mix it with some crisp white walls and some wicker touches for texture. Those symmetrically placed hanging plants add warmth to the space.
How about perking up that dull couch & reupholster the back with some colorful Navajo fabric? Big wall, no art – no worries! Add an antique mirror and add some depth. A fiddle leaf fig tree is a must – that’s the first item I bought when we first moved it our place.
Do you have a kitchen that need a little pizzazz? The tile they used on this bar would make a great backsplash.
Reclaimed wood does wonders to warm up a space. It breathes life on this plain brick wall. And the yellow bar stools adds a happy pop of color – nicks and all!
In L.A. that outdoor space is key. The wooden carved settee with the tiled round table is a cool mix. Adding the embroidered pillows helps create a cozy outdoor living room. Throw some lanterns in the tree and just call it magical!
Angelenos are so lucky when it comes to having a bevi of cool trendy restaurants all around. We’re a tough crowd to please so atmosphere is just as important as the food. So next time you are grabbing lunch…stop, look and be inspired – you’ll be amazed how much your home can reflect the atmosphere that you love with just a glance.
Bon appetit to all your senses!
