Karma is Sanskrit for “comeback.” It is the law of cause and effect; life is a boomerang and what you do comes back to you. It can happen over lifetimes (reincarnation) or instantly. Example: you photograph a burning body at the cremation site in Varanasi when the guide tells you not to and you immediately step in a steaming pile of cow poo and drop your film in the gutter (yes, this happened to me.) That’s instant karma.
Dharma is connected with Ganesh. It is your destiny and living in the natural universal flow. When you connect with Ganesh you gain good dharma. Ganesh is the elephant-headed Hindu god of prosperity who removes obstacles and blesses new beginings. Ganesh removes obstacles so you can find your dharma. With good dharma you find yourself at the right place at the right time meeting the right people. Who doesn’t want more of that?
