Worldwide Cafes - Small but Chic

Good things come in small packages as my Dad used to say. He was trying to make me feel better being a whole five feet and two inches tall. After all a dime is worth more than a nickel right? I have always loved small spaces- they remind me that I am in an urban environment where people create incredible artistic environments with what they have at hand. Meaning very little. Space that is.

So here's the best of the least. From around the world:

Estado Puro
Madrid Spain
1292 square feet
Mixing the old romantic Spain (a thousand ornamental combs were used to decorate the walls) with the new Spain (foie gras tapas and fusion appetizers).

Candy Restaurant
Tokyo, Japan
269 square feet
Only in japan can you be served candy like sushi, tasting menus of sugary delight.

Bloom in the Park
Malmo, Sweden
1292 square feet

Funky atmosphere, creative food and the chicest Scandinavians around.

Vacone Italy
Just for two people, thus the name

If you don't mind the Liberace atmosphere and glitzy decor you can have a truly romantic delicious meal.
